Hey there! Some may remember I used to own a website with this very name. It is also my name on social medias like Twitter and Instagram. During the past few months I have missed my website. I think more so for the easy access to photos that I used to publish on that site.
I'm not sure what I will do with this blog, but I have a few ideas. During my twenty-plus years as a fan, I have acquired a lot of memorabilia throughout the decades. I have been in the process of purging and cleaning out things, but I haven't really touched anything hockey related yet. I'm scared to because most might stay in the "keep" pile. When I do dive into that project, which should be in the next couple of weeks, I wanted somewhere that I could maybe offer items to fans who want some history or something. Facebook is fine, but it doesn't allow me to reach fans who aren't my friends. Message boards are another option, but again, it seems limiting. I also considered eBay, but I've done that route before and I feel like things would be sitting there for months.
At least here I have more options. Oh, and I'm not necessarily looking to make money unless it's something unique. For example, I have some old media guides that will most likely end up in recycle if nobody wants them. I rather those go to another fan if they're wanted.
I also have a ton of hockey cards from the 90's/2000's that I honestly don't know what to do with. We will see where this leads.
I will say something though. It feels really good to be writing and typing again. I didn't know I had a passion for it, but it feels like I never really left.
